Day 16: Running + Heat = Death

Running in the heat is a bad combination (See photo below). It was so hot yesterday. I felt my skin just burning with each step. I have got to figure out getting up early to run. Anyway... I did week 2 day 2 of the C25K program. It went as follows:

  • 5 min warm up walk
  • run 90 sec
  • walk 120 sec
  • repeat X 5
  • 5 min cool down walk

Death heat aside, my legs felt ok. Still had some problems in my shins toward the end, but better than last run. It feels like I am not making progress, but for now, at this stage, it's just about getting out there and building the habit. So onwards!
