Getting in Shape: Day 18

Day 18: I actually got up early!

I did it! I actually did it! I got up early enough to run before work. It was not easy let me tell you. I still hit snooze a couple of more times than I had intended, but I eventually got up around 5:25 am. It made a huge difference not running in the heat.  I did week 2 day 3 of the C25K Program. It went as follows:

  • 5 min warm up walk
  • run 90 sec
  • walk 120 sec
  • repeat X 5
  • 5 min cool down walk

I really hope I can keep getting up to workout before the work day. Not only was it nice to beat the heat, but it is also kind of great that I don't the think about it the rest of the day. I am not yet at the point where I look forward to working out. So it is always a burden thinking about it each day. All that to say... big win today!
